Facade and glass cleaning for hotels
Your facade and your glass canopy are the first things a guest sees, before they even reach reception. We clean them with technology such as drones and robotics, without an aerial work platform (cherry picker) at the entrance and at a time when your guests will barely notice.

Maintenance your guests would rather not see
A hotel never closes. Guests arrive and leave all day, taxis pull up at the door and breakfast runs well into the morning. An aerial work platform at the entrance or scaffolding on the facade stands out immediately, and a closed driveway comes at the expense of your guests' comfort.
You also see what happens when maintenance slips: green growth on the north facade, streaks on the glass above the lobby, leaves and bird droppings on the canopy. Guests take all of that into their first impression, even if they never mention it.
Condition: what we see and clean
We clean facades, windows and glass canopies with purified water: water with the minerals filtered out by reverse osmosis, so it dries without streaks or limescale spots. For organic dirt such as green growth we use enzymatic products that keep breaking it down after a single application, or chemical products where the dirt and the surface call for them.
After every job you'll find before and after photos for each zone of the building on the OPPY platform, our client portal. If we spot a damaged joint or a loose element along the way, it goes into the report with its location on the facade.
Safety: nobody at height, no machine at the door
The pilot stays on the ground. There is no aerial work platform, scaffolding, gondola or rope access involved, so no heavy equipment on your driveway or terrace either. What we do need is a safety perimeter below the drone. We mark it out zone by zone and move it as the work progresses, having agreed with you beforehand which entrance guests use in the meantime.
Spraying from a drone, including for cleaning, falls outside the open category. It requires an operational authorisation in the specific category, the European category for higher-risk drone flights, granted by the Directorate-General Aviation of the Belgian FPS Mobility and Transport (Federal Public Service).
Financial value: what you avoid and what you get back
Traditional facade maintenance costs more than the cleaning itself. There is the hire and transport of an aerial work platform or scaffolding, sometimes a permit for the public road, and the hours when your entrance or car park is partly out of use. With a drone the platform disappears from the bill, and whatever remains is set out clearly in our quote.
Regular maintenance also keeps the work light. Green growth left for years needs a heavier and more expensive clean than growth removed every year. We won't give you savings percentages from a brochure. On a call we put your current costs next to our proposal, with every assumption visible.
The surfaces we clean
Our method is designed for the surfaces below. Which of them we treat at your hotel is something we establish on a site visit or from photos.
Windows and glass facades
Window cleaningWindows of rooms and suites, curtain walls and the glass front of the lobby.
Glass canopies and atriums
Window cleaningGlass you see from below but can't easily reach, such as the canopy over the entrance or a rooflight. After cleaning we can apply a dirt-repellent coating, so dirt sticks less and rain carries more of it away.
Solar panels
Solar panel cleaningPanels on the hotel roof or over the car park, where soiling is holding back their output.
Questions from hotels
Can you clean while the hotel is open?
Yes. The hotel stays open and guests come and go as usual. We work zone by zone, with a safety perimeter below the drone that moves along with the job. For the entrance and the canopy we pick a quiet moment and agree in advance which door guests will use. Your front desk can see when we will be where, because the schedule is on the platform.
How early in the day can you start?
We prefer to schedule the zones around the entrance and the terrace early in the morning, within the hours our authorisation and daylight allow. The exact time depends on the season and on how your hotel is oriented. We fit it around breakfast service, check-outs and deliveries so that nobody has to work around us.
What happens if it rains or is too windy on the planned day?
Then we don't fly. Wind and rain make a flight unsafe and the result worse, so we reschedule the job for a suitable day agreed with you. The new date appears on the platform and we let your contact person know in advance, so the front desk isn't caught off guard.
Are the products safe for the terrace, the planting and guests below?
We clean glass with purified water (reverse osmosis). For organic dirt on the facade we use enzymatic or chemical products, matched to the dirt and the surface. While we spray, nobody is in the area below the drone. Terrace furniture close by is moved or covered together with your team.
What do you need from us?
A contact person who knows the building, and access to the areas around the hotel. For the first job we visit the site, or work from photos and plans. After that, everything we know about your building is on the platform, so you don't have to explain it all again each time.
